With over 7 years of experience, Norika Takada, native of Okinawa, Japan, earned a Bachelor of Applied Arts with a focus on Silversmithing and Jewelry Design from Fu-Jen University in Taipei Taiwan.  She then spent two years in Barcelona, Spain studying goldsmithing techniques at the Escola de Arts I Oficis.  Her work is a blend of these influences, with inspiration drawn from the sea of her island home and tempered with European metalcraft.  Mixed metals and organic forms dominate her designs.
